ABOUT GARY CASIAS
With a more than 16 years of experience, and advanced coursework, I draw from multiple disciplines. Primarily utilizing advanced techniques such as NeuroKinetic Therapy®, Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Rock Tape® /Rock Blades/Rock Pods/Rock Floss methods; and Anatomy in Motion gait and movement analysis, I combine these methods to help personalize your session.
In my mid 20's. I was a school bus driver, became extremely sedentary, and gained over 100 pounds. I made the decision to change my life and was committed to becoming healthier. I went back to school and earned a Bachelor's degree in Movement and Sports Science. I became a personal trainer, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (not current), so I could teach myself and others to live a healthier more enjoyable life.
Seeing clients deal with injuries and chronic pain, I wanted to help in other ways as well, so I decided to go back to school and learn massage therapy. After my basic training, I saw there were so many different modalities of manual therapy – so many ways to help clients. I chose to focus on Myofascial Release. for many years, which helped many clients. But there were always some issues that I just couldn't quite figure out, so again I went back to study more: Neurokinetic Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, Foot & Gait Mechanics, Kettlebell Swinging, and so much more (see below for list). With a thirst to help my clients, I've learned I will never stop educating myself. I love learning and plan on continuing to find ways to help my clients get the best treatment I can provide.
I truly enjoy helping clients figure out what is happening in their body. If clients are in pain due to posture, exercise, injury, surgery recovery, chronic long standing issues, or emotional stresses I'm here to help figure it out!
